Is Awapuni School Taking Zero Waste Seriously?

I Strongly Believe that Awapuni School takes Zero waste seriously!
Awapuni students take care of our school’s environment.

Firstly, Awapuni school has a Green Team! The Green Team takes
their time to help our school’s
environment by, planting new trees for us which help
reduce carbon dioxide in our Greenhouse Gas layer, to Slow
down global warming. For example We all have a carbon
footprint and the green team is reducing how big our carbon
footprints are! When the Green Team is doing planting  that they
are being the community kind! The Green team also takes our mandarin
skins and apple cores to the compost for the worms! Cows make half
of our carbon in our greenhouse gas layer.

Secondly, Awapuni School did wearable art! As evidence, wearable art is were you recycle and reuse old plastic bottles and cardboard boxes and more! With the wearable art we brought in Boxes, fabric and plastic bags! Awapuni School also did research about zero waste. Zero waste is were we reduce waste that goes into our landfills and also into our seas! So we make sure we take our rubbish home and don’t leave it lying around our school!Lastly, Awapuni School made a letter to the council!
We made a letter to the council that was a exposition letter and
it was stating what we want to do, to the plastic bags! In fact, the
Council has made a call to action!

In Conclusion Zero waste should be taken seriously!
So we should make sure we plant, more trees.,
So that we can reduce our carbon footprint!

All About Me

I was learning to make a google drawing about myself. I enjoyed drawing the pictures to
describe the words. I put words that describe about me and I put words that I like to hear
like "Great Job!" Nothing in this activity challenged me.
